Collabshop (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website getcollabshop.com and the Collabshop platform (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

We collect the following categories of personal information when you sign up or use the Service:

• Social media handles: TikTok handle, Instagram handle (optional)
• Account details: TikTok Shop store or brand name, follower count range, content niche, product category, commission rate

4. TikTok Shop API

Collabshop integrates with the TikTok Shop Affiliate API to provide its core functionality. Through this integration, we access the following TikTok data scopes on your behalf (for sellers who connect their TikTok Shop account):

• product.list — to display your products on the platform
• affiliate.commission.write — to set commission rates for creator affiliate links
• order.read — to track sales and calculate creator earnings

We access TikTok Shop API data solely to operate the Service. We do not sell, share, or use TikTok API data for any purpose other than providing the Collabshop platform. We do not store TikTok access tokens beyond what is necessary for session management. Tokens are stored in HTTP-only, secure cookies and expire after 24 hours.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your signup data is stored securely using Netlify Blobs, a cloud storage service provided by Netlify, Inc. All data is stored in the United States.

We implement the following security measures:

• All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• Authentication tokens are stored in HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite cookies that cannot be accessed by JavaScript
• We use CSRF state tokens to protect OAuth flows
• Access to our data storage is restricted to platform operators

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Email Communications

We use Resend (resend.com) to send transactional emails. When you sign up, you will receive:

• A welcome email confirming your registration
• Access notifications when your account is approved
• Service-related updates directly relevant to your account

We do not send marketing newsletters without your explicit consent. You may unsubscribe from any email by following the instructions at the bottom of the message or by emailing us at hello@getcollabshop.com.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Netlify (netlify.com) — hosting, serverless functions, and data storage
• Resend (resend.com) — transactional email delivery
• TikTok Shop (tiktok.com) — affiliate API for product listings and commission tracking
• Google Fonts — font delivery (no personal data is collected beyond standard HTTP request logs)

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing the data it receives.

9. Cookies

We use cookies solely for essential platform functionality:

• tiktok_access_token — stores your TikTok Shop session token (HTTP-only, expires in 24 hours)
• tiktok_oauth_state — CSRF protection during the OAuth authorization flow (expires in 10 minutes)

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any tracking cookies. There are no third-party tracking pixels on this site.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
